These are going to be some fun Combo hunts ! These are 10 Day Hunts and we tailor this hunt to your preferences, both in advance and once we're in the field.

For those that want to really follow "The Track of the Grizzly" we can spot, stalk, and predator call for Bear and Wolf etc .. both on-foot and utilizing ATVs as needed. Be aware that the better physical condition you are in the more likely you are to have more opportunities at harvesting game.

The area we will be in has almost no hunting pressure, and consistently contains nothing short of beautiful bears with great hides, a good percentage of which display the desirable "Toklat" multicolor hide pattern. The Ram hunting is an unforgettable experience sure to please the most seasoned mountain hunters.

This is a comprehensive package which includes pickup and drop-off anywhere in Anchorage, along with food, lodging, and additional amenities for up to 10 days. On this hunt sometimes there is 1 or maybe 2 nights of lodging in RV’s but mostly your lodging is a comfortable remote tent camp. We even have a warm shower ! It is a beautiful setting and high adventure is at your feet ! Literally ! Often Rams and sometimes Grizzlies are spotted right from Camp, and sometimes they move through the area quite near Camp ! The hunts over the last few years have ranged from 100% opportunity and harvest rate to high opportunity rate and a good harvest rate.

We will also handle all field dressing of any game taken, and will deliver all skins, skulls, horns, and meat to your choice of tannery, taxidermist, or shipping expediter in the area. You can choose to hunt with modern long guns of course, but archery, muzzle-loading weapons, and even handguns are perfectly acceptable provided they are legal for big game hunting in Alaska and adequate to harvest the game you want to hunt, and provided that you can demonstrate proficiency with them beforehand.

Bookings require a 50 percent deposit with the remainder due no less than 90 days before the hunt begins. The deposit is non-refundable, but if you cannot make the hunt we will work with you if you have found a replacement hunter, however the replacement hunter has to be suitable for the hunt. We can discuss rescheduling the original hunter as well.

We can also help you obtain your Alaska hunting license and tags for the game you want to hunt. For 2026 those fees for non-residents of Alaska are:

Hunting License - $160 (also covers small game such as coyotes, game birds, etc.)

Grizzly Tag - $1,000 ( a 2nd Grizzly Bear is available on this hunt and will require a 2nd $1,000 Grizzly Tag and additionally is a $5,000 Trophy Fee )

Dall Sheep Tag - $850

Black Bear Tag - $650 ( Trophy Fee of $2,500 unless you choose to use a Grizzly Tag on it )

Wolf - No Tag required and no Trophy Fee

Additional Hunt Details:

Guests / Non Hunters can accompany you for $2000 ( prices and availability are subject to change )

* If you want a minor to accompany you in this hunt as a guest / non Hunter then special additional arrangements will need to be discussed and made

As required by law, a wounded animal counts towards your allotted animal on the hunt. A wounded animal is defined as one that has been hit by a projectile, (usually this means that there is sign that blood has been drawn, but not always!) That said, we will make absolutely Herculean efforts to recover any animal that you wound.

As this hunt is in a very remote location, there is no cell service, however, we will have an active satellite communication device that anyone of us can utilize to keep in contact with the outside world, as well as an emergency SOS signal if ever needed. This is provided at no extra cost.
